Job Description:
Elementary School Psychologist One year leave of absence position (Sept 2024-June 2025)
Altamont and Pine Bush Elementary Schools
Travel within district required
Responsibilities include:
Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and develop FBAs and BIPs
Coordinate and lead the school-based intervention team process with the principals, support staff, parents, and instructional staff;
Provide behavioral support and crisis management
Provide the following school-wide support: Use data to help teachers identify and group children who need additional support;
Help teachers develop and implement classroom-based, developmentally appropriate interventions for individual children and groups of children to enhance their acquisition of social/emotional and cognitive skills;
Develop and use instructional and behavioral support tools and assist teams with the implementation of these interventions
