Minimum Job Requirements: 

Possess leadership experience, organizational skills, and communication abilities to effectively coach and support teachers and their instructional teams, Is well-versed in developmental disabilities/autism and how to support the learning and development of life and academic skills, Is well-versed in research-based intervention strategies and pre-referral supports, Is well-versed in NYSED regulations pertaining to students with disabilities, Possesses knowledge of web-based IEP development and student management systems, Possesses NYS certification as a school psychologist

School Psychologist

Guilderland Central School District/ Elementary Level

10-month position 

In this position, the candidate will: 

• Support the Comprehensive Skills Self-Contained Program (CSP) with re-evaluations and behavior interventions/strategies at Guilderland Elementary School.  
• Provide behavioral support strategies and conduct FBA/BIP for students in the CSP program and across the 5 elementary schools.
• May assist with initial evaluations or re-evaluation of students, as needed, across all elementary schools 
• Chair sub-CSE and Section 504 meetings as designated
