Minimum Job Requirements:
Possesses NYS certification as a school psychologist. Possesses leadership experience, organizational skills, and communication abilities to effectively coach and support teachers and their instructional teams. Is well-versed in research based intervention strategies and pre-referral supports. Is well-versed in NYSED regulations about students with disabilities. Possesses knowledge of web-based IEP development and student management systems

Elementary School Psychologists-Multiple Positions
Leave of Absence: April 1-June 30, 2024 (Full-time)
Part-Time FTE 0.6 FTE
Responsibilities include:
Conduct psycho-educational evaluations, FBAs and develop BIPs;
Provide behavioral support and crisis management;
Help teachers develop and implement classroom-based, developmentally appropriate interventions for individual children and groups of children to enhance their acquisition of social/emotional and cognitive skills;
Develop and use instructional and behavioral support tools and assist teams with the implementation of these interventions
