Minimum Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of clerical/administrative experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and school database systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of complex clerical tasks including word processing, data entry, record keeping, and filing.
- Greet and assist students, parents, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
- Coordinate substitute teacher coverage.
- Maintain student attendance records and report absences or tardiness in school systems.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, newsletters, and school correspondence.
- Manage and update student records, enrollment forms, and confidential documents.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and room reservations for school staff.
- Provide support in administering standardized tests and maintaining testing materials.
- Process mail, deliveries, and inter-office communications.
- Monitor and order office and classroom supplies within budget guidelines.
- Assist with health and safety procedures, including contacting parents in emergencies.
- Support teachers and administrators with routine operational tasks as assigned.
