Minimum Job Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Valid New York State Certification in Elementary Special Education. Familiarity with Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) and/or Consultant Teacher models preferred. Experience supporting students with disabilities in general education settings.

Position Type: Full-Time, Tenure-Track Probationary
Start Date: September 1, 2025

Position Overview:
The Guilderland Central School District is accepting applications for dynamic and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team at the elementary level. These full-time, tenure-track positions focus on supporting students with disabilities within an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction and accommodations in an inclusive general education setting in collaboration with a co-teacher.
• Support students with disabilities in achieving IEP goals while accessing the general education curriculum.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, participate in CSE meetings, and contribute to IEP development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that values diversity and promotes student independence and engagement.
