NYS Music K-12 Certification, experience with teaching proper string technique and directing and managing large ensembles 

Job Description:

The Guilderland Central School District is committed to seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to continue our tradition of excellence. We are now accepting applications for a full-time, year-long elementary orchestra teacher that has the potential to become a probationary track position. The position consists of elementary string lessons and orchestra. Knowledge of Music Learning Theory and the Suzuki Method is a plus. 

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Experience in teaching string instruments and directing an orchestra
