Minimum Job Requirements: NYS Teaching Assistant Certification (initial, level I, II or III) or eligible to obtain certification
Job Description: Westmere Elementary is looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a new third grade student.
NYS Teaching Assistant Certification preferred or working towards certification
Hours are 7:40-2:10
Candidates should be professional, positive, collaborative and child-centered.
The teaching assistant works collaboratively with the teacher and related service providers to ensure each student has access to meaningful and appropriate learning experiences. Candidates should be professional, positive, collaborative and child-centered.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.
