Minimum Job Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred; valid NYS Certification in Special Education 5-9, 7-12 or K-12 

 

The Guilderland Central School District is accepting applications for a leave of absence Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. 


GCSD is seeking a special education teacher to join the Farnsworth Middle School team! Candidates should possess:

  • Diverse backgrounds, educational interests, and experiences

  • A passion for teaching and positive attitude

  • An adaptable and coachable mindset

  • Experience as a co-teacher and/or consultant teacher preferred
