Minimum Job Requirements: 

Music K-12 Certification 

The Guilderland Central School District is committed to seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to continue our tradition of excellence. We are now accepting applications to fill a full-time leave of absence for a middle school vocal music teacher. The position consists of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade general music classes and 7th grade chorus. Knowledge of Music Learning Theory is a plus. We are looking for candidates who have;

• Experience in teaching classroom instruments and vocal/ general music

• Positive attitude and passion for teaching

• An adaptable and coachable mindset

• Enthusiasm for the well-being and progress of children

• Strong interest in working collaboratively as part of a team

• Music K-12 Certification
