Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Math Teaching Assistant to support our RtI/MTSS program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 5. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers and the Math Specialist to provide targeted small-group and one-on-one math instruction aimed at addressing skill gaps and reinforcing core concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver small-group or individualized math instruction based on student needs and intervention plans.
• Assist in progress monitoring and data collection to inform instructional decisions.
• Support classroom teachers with implementing RtI strategies and materials.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence and engagement in math.
• Communicate regularly with teachers and support staff regarding student progress and needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational setting.
• Strong math skills and a willingness to learn intervention strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and adapt to student needs.
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in supporting student growth.
