At least 2 years of administrative or clerical experience preferred. Ability to manage calendars, substitute coordination, and staff coverage.

Guilderland High School is seeking a highly motivated Office Assistant to support our High School Special Education program. In this critical position, you’ll ensure the special education process for students at Guilderland High School runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
-Schedule Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and coordinate with teachers and service providers
-Monitor and meet compliance deadlines for IEPs and evaluations
-Handle calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with professionalism and sensitivity
-Maintain confidential records and manage multiple student data systems
-Manage school calendars, substitute lists, and teacher coverage
-Support staff with documentation, timelines, and follow-through on required paperwork
-Coordinate and maintain substitute coverage for teachers and teaching assistants
-Schedule interviews and assist in preparing materials for candidate selection
