This position is the Teaching Assistant dedicated to the High School Focus program. The Focus TA maintains the Focus lounge, where students come for attendance, extra help, student support, and meetings with staff. The Focus programs serves approximately 70 students who are in need of support in academic, social-emotional, or behavioral areas. The candidate would also maintain attendance for the program, including calling home for absent students.
Sitting, maintaining attendance, phone calls home to students who are absent.
