- NYS Elementary Education Certification.
- Teach the NYS elementary curriculum. Collaborate with colleagues.
- Good communication skills with students and parents.
Job Description:
Lynnwood Elementary is seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional to fill a LOA position in fifth grade. Hours are 7:25 am -3:20 pm and the position runs from Sept. 2 — approx. Oct. 6, 2026.
Successful candidates should work well with students, be open to learning, enjoy collaborating with colleagues, have current NYS certification, be knowledgeable on the NYS standards, work well with students, be flexible, engaging, professional and have a positive personality.
Requirements include following weekly lesson plans that teach the NYS curriculum for all subjects — reading, writing, word study, math, science and social studies.
