Location: Farnsworth Middle School (Grades 6-8)

Start Date:  September 1st, 2026

Guilderland CSD seeks a part-time (.5 FTE) Health Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.  New York State Health Education Certification is required.  Teaching Health Education grades 6-8 at Farnsworth Middle School.  Start date 9/1/2026

Qualifications: 

New York State Health Education Certification is required.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST - PROBATIONARY

Minimum Job Requirements: 

Possesses NYS certification as a school psychologist. Possesses leadership experience, organizational skills, and communication abilities to effectively coach and support teachers and their instructional teams. Is well-versed in research-based intervention strategies. Experience with students with developmental disabilities, including autism, preferred

ASSIGNED TO SERVE 4 ELEMENTARY SELF - CONTAINED CLASSROOMS

Responsibilities include: 

• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and develop FBAs and BIPs

• Attend and support team meetings with the administrators, instructional and support staff, and parents

• Provide behavioral support and crisis management

• Use data to help teachers develop and implement classroom-based, developmentally appropriate interventions for individual children and/or groups of children to enhance their acquisition of social/emotional and cognitive skills 

• Develop, model, and use instructional and behavioral support tools and assist teams with the implementation of these interventions

Speech/Language Pathologist — Probationary

Minimum Job Requirements: 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Successful completion and graduation from an accredited speech and language disabilities program NYS certification in speech/language disabilities required Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) preferred experience with evaluations and implementation of Augmentative Communication Systems including programming, updating, and troubleshooting.
