Guilderland High School is seeking a highly motivated Office Assistant to support our High School Special Education program. If you're detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and ready to make a meaningful impact, this may be the opportunity for you. In this critical position, you’ll ensure the special education process for students at Guilderland High School runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

-Schedule Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and coordinate with teachers and service providers

-Monitor and meet compliance deadlines for IEPs and evaluations

-Handle calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with professionalism and sensitivity

-Maintain confidential records and manage multiple student data systems

-Manage school calendars, substitute lists, and teacher coverage

-Support staff with documentation, timelines, and follow-through on required paperwork

-Coordinate and maintain substitute coverage for teachers and teaching assistants

-Schedule interviews and assist in preparing materials for candidate selection

The Guilderland Central School District is currently seeking the following coaches for the Fall 2026 season:

1. Varsity Girls Cross Country Assistant Coach

2. Modified 9 Girls Soccer Head Coach

3. Modified Girls Soccer Head Coach

4. Modified Girls Volleyball Head Coach

5. Modified Boys Cross Country Head Coach

 

Qualifications (To be completed by the start date): 

Certified Teacher

-Valid CPR, AED, First Aid Training (we offer classes in house)

-Mandatory Online Concussion Training (Free, about 35 minutes in length)

 

Non Certified Teacher

-Apply for temporary coaching license on NYSED website

-Fingerprints

-Valid CPR, AED, First Aid Training (we offer classes in house)

-DASA workshop (in person or online)

-Child Abuse Identification workshop (online)

-School Violence Intervention and Prevention workshop (online)

BOCES Regional Summer School-Site—Guilderland High School

Start Date: July 8th

End Date: August 13th 

Additional Dates Regents Examinations August 18th and 19th (7-8 hours each day)

Hours-7:30 am-11:30 am. 

Rate of Pay-range from $18.19-$24.27.

Job Requirements: Monitoring the building, student and staff safety and security needs.
